At the time you sign your contract, a 20% non-refundable deposit is due. The final balance is due 14 days prior to the event. Galaxy Flicks accepts cash, money orders, and most major credit cards including MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express.

Galaxy Flicks allows you to shift events date due to forecasted inclement weather. We’ll accommodate you with our available dates based on the weather plan you selected. There are no additional charges applied if you change your event date to Sunday through Thursday. You must call to reschedule at least three hours before your scheduled event and/or before our staff has begun to travel to your event.

If the weather begins to look threatening during setup or during the event, Galaxy Flicks reserves the right to protect its own equipment by canceling setup or production. Premier Outdoor Movie reserves the right to delay set up or pause production until suitable weather conditions exist. Inclement weather includes, but is not limited to, rain, imminent rain, looming thunderclouds, and dangerous winds capable of damaging equipment.

Our outdoor movie projectors are bright enough to see images on the screen 15 minutes before sundown. For the best experience, Galaxy Flicks suggests starting the movie 5 minutes after sundown. Techs will begin playing music immediately after the screen is setup, and you can find sunset times from SunriseSunset.com. 

That depends. If you’re hosting an outdoor movie rental in the privacy of your own property, you WILL NOT need a film license. 

However, if you’re planning on putting up an inflatable outdoor movie screen in a public place, you WILL need to purchase the appropriate non-theatrical license. We provide the equipment, but you need to obtain the license as the end-user. But don’t worry, Galaxy Flicks can help!

You may obtain a license by visiting Swank Motion Pictures at Swank.com. Galaxy Flicks also maintains general liability insurance, so relax and enjoy the show.

Galaxy Flicks will set up all of the equipment, and dismantle it once the show is over so you don’t have to worry. We begin setup approximately one hour before sunset, and it takes roughly 30 minutes to setup the inflatable outdoor movie screen. We’ll also perform audio tests as soon as the screen is standing, and projection tests at dusk. 

Unless otherwise specified by the customer, the inflatable outdoor movie screen will begin deflating 10 minutes after the end of the movie. All equipment will be removed within 90 minutes of the movie’s completion, but these procedures may vary depending on the outdoor movie rental agreement made with the customer.

Of course! All techs come equipped with a wireless or wired microphone.

Unfortunately, we don’t rent out our equipment. We rent the outdoor movie experience, and take great pride in providing a trained technician with all of our rental packages to stay at every event and run the equipment.

We can absolutely supply the power for your equipment. This gives great flexibility when choosing the location for your event! Please discuss your power needs with one of our friendly account reps when setting up your experience.

Of course! All of Galaxy Flicks’ inflatable movie screens can be used indoors. In fact, a majority of our customer base rents packages for indoor use. Give us a call to discuss your indoor movie event.

Friday and Saturday nights are in high demand throughout the year. Galaxy Flicks recommends reserving your equipment as soon as possible to get your preferred dates – particularly for birthdays or other time sensitive events. We do have a wide variety of inflatable movie screens, so there are instances where we can accommodate those “last-minute shoppers.”
